1) Select a neighboring country with an embassy after understanding their procedure and making sure that it is feasible. The procedure for each country is given on their individual website.
2) Even with these differences the basic steps remain the same. Fill the application form. You may select an embassy that allows online submission of form. Submit your form along with a colored photo and the required documents along with the original passport.
3) Visiting the embassy in neighboring countries won’t be feasible, so it would be better to select an embassy accepts forms and documents by post. It is very important to select a good postal service that allows tracking as you will be submitting your original passport.
4) An application fee has to be paid. Once the procedure a visa will be delivered within 5-7 days. However, you will have to consider the time taken by postal services.
5) This visa is applicable only for all the routes of travel.
Applying for a VOA:
The process of getting an embassy visa is a time consuming and expensive. Hence you may go for Visa on Arrival (VOA). The process is simple and we will be taking care of major part of the process. The process is mentioned in short below:
1) Fill the application form online and pay the processing fee. The process fee depends duration of stay and the type of visa. You do not have to submit any documents.
2) We will forward the application to the immigration department. Once they check all the details, they send an approval letter. We will take it from them and email it to you.
3) Take the approval letter and original passport while boarding the flight.
4) On arriving at one of the major airports like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City or Da Nang an immigration officer will cross check the approval letter and passport and then stamp the visa.
5) The entire process will be completed within 2-3 days.
6) The process is applicable only for air travel. If you plan on travelling by any other route you will have to apply for an embassy visa.
