Vietnam visa for Turkish citizens in Cambodia
Hello!
We are from Turkey, traveling around Asia. We would like to go to Vietnam but we don't have the visa. We went to embassy in Cambodia and they told us that we need an approval letter. How can we get that and how many day that we have to wait? We don't have much time. Also can we use bus??

Re-entering Vietnam
Hi, I am currently in Vietnam and have a single entry visa. Plans have changed and I will be leaving Vietnam before my visa finishes to go to Cambodia but my flight back home is from Hanoi. A tour rep said she can do me an invitation letter in order to re enter for my flight home. Is this correct?

Hi,

I don't know how much time will you transit at the airport, however, it is normally no need to apply for a visa if you stay at transit area for connecting flight.

Regarding your tour rep said she can do an invitation letter to re-enter Vietnam, please ask if the that's kind of letter is official granted by Vietnam Immigration Department or issue by her company ? Only the Immigration Department of Vietnam grant the visa approval letter which allow you to pick up your visa on arrival at international airport of Vietnam.

P/s : our website is a kind of service to make sponsor (invitation letter) - a paperwork required from the Immigration Department in order to approved the visa approval letter for getting visa on arrival.

Regarding the visa application which we sent to your email, you need to fill it, sign it & attached photo and then bring it with you to hand in the officer when pick up your visa on arrival at the airport.

Now if you apply online, you will get visa approval letter within 1-2 working days. The visa approval letter will be sent to your email.
You will see an office that issues visa at the airport. Your visa stamp fee must be paid there.

Entry and exit date

I am scheduling my trip to Vietnam but currently I do not have tthe precise entry and exit date. It is only pretty sure the trip will occur around end of Dec. So, how should I fill the entry and exit date in the application form? I am going to apply 3 months visa with multiple entries.

Hello,

For the entry date, you can enter Vietnam after the entry date that you submit for the visa (it is impossible to enter Vietnam before the entry date you apply for the visa).
For example, the entry date for your visa is 25 Dec 2016, you can enter Vietnam on 30 Dec or 01 Jan 2017, but it is impossible to enter Vietnam on 22 Dec or 24 Dec 2016.

Hello,

Russian passport holders are not need visa for staying in Vietnam less than 15 days. The problem is you must exit Vietnam for at least 30 days than able to come back to Vietnam for free entrance to Vietnam.

For your case, We suggestion 2 options as below:

Option 1/ Apply for 1 month multiple entries visa for your first trip to Vietnam. This option will cost you money but safe & have peace in mind, fee for 1 month multiple entries (tourist visa) = $25 for service fee + $50 stamp fee for 1 person.

Option 2/ Save you much money. Getting in Vietnam for free entrance visa for your first trip & Apply for 1 month single entry for second trip to Vietnam from Singapore (it costs $16 for service fee + $25 for stamp fee).
I think option 2 is the best for you.

Hi,
British passport holders are not need visa for entering Vietnam if stay less than 15 days.
Please note that your previous exit from Vietnam must at least 30 days. It means you must exit Vietnam at least 30 days then can come back to Vietnam for free visa, otherwise, must apply visa.

No need visa if you visit Phu Quoc only. However, visa is reuquired if go outside Phu Quoc Island.
If you are Korean passport holders, no need visa 15 days for visiting Vietnam, any cities in Vietnam.

Hello,

One person are allow to exit the country (Vietnam) if you have valid Vietnamese passport (for Vietnamese people) or valid visa (for foreigners).

In your case, if your baby was born in Vietnam but hold Filipino passport & no valid visa or valid permitted entry, I think you can not bring your baby going home to Philippine.

Visa Help - exiting by bus
Hi

Just wanting to get some information on getting a Vietnam visa.

I am looking to fly into Hanoi, travel all the way down Vietnam for about a month and then exit via bus at the boarder between Ha Tien and Chau Doc to Cambodia.

How do I go about getting a visa? Do they need proof of the ongoing journey? How do I show this?

Hello,

If you enter Vietnam via airport, you can apply online to get visa on arrival, then you can exit Vietnam at any port.
If you plan to stay in Vietnam for 1 month, then you should apply for 1 month visa. Or if stay for more than 1 month, you should apply for 3 month visa

Single entry visa will be ok if you not come back to Vietnam from Cambodia. Please apply for multiple entry visa if you want to come back to Vietnam from Cambodia or Laos.

Visa on arrival is simple & easy to apply as long as you passport have 6 month validity & at least 1 blank page

If you not enter Vietnam via airport, you should contact embassy of Vietnam to get visa before hand for this case. Visa on arrival support for those entering Vietnam via airport only.

You can contact embassy of Vietnam in or near your country or in Vietnam neighboring country like Cambodia, Lao, China....

Thanks for your question. May we know what is your nationally? If your country is in the list of Visa excemption, you can get free Visa to Vietnam for a period of time. If you stay in Vietnam more than th period of Free Visa, you need to apply a Visa to visit Vietnam.

For your question, you need to exit Vietnam on your Visa expiry date at the latest, if not, you will be fined.

Is it possible for me to ad more time to my visa after arriving into Vietnam? I am not sure right now if I need more than up to the 15 days I have as a Swedish citizen. Unfortunately, change visa from single entry to multiple entry quite expensive & not easy at this time.
I think you should apply for visa on arrival when you come back to Vietnam from Cambodia via airport. If you not entering Vietnam via airport, you should go to Vietnam embassy or consulate in Cambodia to apply for visa there.

Dont worry if you change airport of arrival.
As you can see in the visa approval letter, it allow you to pick up visa at any international airport of Vietnam, including : Noi Bai Int'l airport in Hanoi city, Tan Son Nhat Int'l In Ho Chi Minh city & Da Nang Int'l airport in Da Nang city.

Please note that the airport when you landing fist in Vietnam is the airport for pick up visa

For Visa on arrival, you jut need to apply the Visa online and get the Visa upon arrival. You do not need to contact the embassy of Vietnam in your country.
If you want to enter Vietnam again, you need to apply multiple entries Visa.

- The first time, you fly to Ha Noi and get the Visa at Noi Bai airport

- The second time, you can enter Vietnam buy bus... (land), because you have had the Visa already in your passport.

You can apply Vietnam Visa now for 3 months single entry entry and then you can exit Vietnam by bus to Cambodia.
But you can not come back Vietnam again, because your Visa is just single entry. If you want to come back, you can apply Vietnam Visa online to get the Visa on arrival if you enter Vietnam by air. In case you enter Vietnam by bus, you need to contact Vietnam embassy to apply the Vietnam Visa again.

I am Samer, who lived in Iraq and Iraq passport holder.
I plan to go to Vietnam for traveling a month in mid-december until mid-january next year.

Iraq passport holders are required visa for entering Vietnam. Due to no Vietnam embassy in Iraq so you can apply online for visa approval letter from Vietnam Immigration Department to picking up visa on arrival at international airport of Vietnam.

Hi,
I used your service and to be honest I'm pretty satisfied for now. I received my approval letter quickly and our mail exchanges went smoothly. The letter seems to be fine too, though I haven't used it yet as my flight will be next month.
For this reason I wonder why your website has been put in the "black list" on vietnamese embassy in France's website. They say that there were complaints from customers for not receiving the letter or for being rejected to fly... They then give a list of some website that seems to be scam or provide fake letter and yours is on the list. I hope there would be no problem for me or your customers because of this warning, which seems not right to me.
I have no intention of complaint or re-apply what so ever. Just want to let you know.

Firstly, we are happy to inform you that visa upon arrival are available for those enter Vietnam by air, of course, it is legitimated & approved by Vietnam Immigration (government of Vietnam.
Secondly, in case there is no embassy in your country, how can you get a visa to Vietnam ? If you would like rush visa to Vietnam in same day or on Sat and Sun for urgent case, how can you get visa ? My answer is visa upon arrival Vietnam at the airport. You can ask a travel agent in Vietnam arrange visa upon arrival for you then you come to Vietnam for pick up visa.

Airport transit visa
Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a ghanaian passport holder and I'm currently studying in Russia. I'm visiting Singapore and I'll be transiting through Vietnam with Vietnam air. I am staying in Singapore for 2 months and on my return, I will also transit through Vietnam.

I would like to find out if I will need transit visa, although I wouldn't go out of the airport since time between connecting flights is only 1 hour.

In this case, you don't need any transit visa if you don't go out of transit area (you don't go out of the airport).

As long as you go out of the airport (whether 1 hours or 1 minute only), you must apply for an approval letter to get Vietnam visa.
To get approval letter from Visa Vietnam, you can contact for help.

There will be no problem because you are exempt from Vietnam visa for 30 days as a Malaysia passport holder.
Please note that your passport must be valid for at least 6 months so than you can enter Vietnam in this case.

Can I Get A Visa Extension
Hello, I am Bankole ibukun Olusola a Nigerian. I have Stayed In Vietnam For 20 months, initially i came to Vietnam for a 1 year study program, but after my studies i got a job, and I've been working for 8 months now. i got my visa extended twice, but now i want to get it extended for 6 more months. Yes you can apply for a visa online to be issued a Vietnam visa at the airport. However, please make sure that your passport is still valid for at least 6 months.
For a 1 month single visa, it costs 18 USD for service fee (pay for us) and 45 USD for stamping fee (pay in cash at a Vietnam airport).

For foreigners who hold African passport holders (Except South Africa) and Middle East countries such as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Cameroon, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar… there are following conditions to make Viet Nam visa:

1. There must be a company (or someone) in Viet Nam guarantee (The company will guide the procedure to make guarantee documents for clients)

2. Send us the scan of two-way ticket (return ticket) and the scan of passport.

3. Service fee vary for each country and we will inform about the fee after checking your details.

Please note that stamping fee is paid in cash at your designated Vietnam airport.
