A Cuban citizen has two major channels for getting a visa. The first way is to get in touch with the official embassy and the second channel is through various agents like us who are professionals in getting VOAs for the travelers.
Obtaining an embassy Visa:
Cuba has a strong democratic relation with Vietnam and it is evident from the fact that Vietnam has established its official embassy in Cuba. This embassy looks after all the visa requirements of the people here. It is located in the city of Havana. You may visit their website to get to know their exact working hours.
1) Complete the visa application form provided by the embassy and attach all the required documents to it. Affix a latest colored photograph to the form. You will also need to submit your original passport with the form so make sure that your passport is valid.
2) You may take this application form personally to the embassy or you may send it across via post if you reside far from the city of Havana.
3) You will need to pay the processing fee to complete the application process. The fee will depend on the type of visa for which you are applying. The embassy accepts payment in cash or even via check.
4) An accepted application will let you obtain a visa within 5 to 7 days.
5) This visa gives you an entry into Vietnam through all modes of transport.
Obtaining a VOA:
VOA stands for a Visa on Arrival and it is the most hassle free way of applying for a visa. The only thing that needs to be kept in mind is that VOA is applicable only when air travel is involved. For other modes of journey, only an embassy visa can do the needful. We provide the most economical and quickest VOAs to our clients. The process is as follows:
1) You need to fill up an online form with us. There is minimal or no documentation involved and you will not have to part with your original passport.
2) The next step is to pay the fee required for the visa. The fee will be decided by the type of visa you need and the duration of your stay. This completes your application process.
3) We will take this form to the immigration department that will issue an approval letter to you. We will send it to your mailbox within 2 days.
4) Arrive at Vietnam airport with this letter and get your visa stamped from the officials there and your stay in Vietnam is sorted.
