The citizens of Uzbekistan can apply for the visa to Vietnam in two different ways: -
To visit Vietnam from Uzbekistan the Vietnam government has set up an electronic visa system to process the entry visas online for the visitors either for the business or for just touring purpose. It has made the process very easy where you don’t have to stand in a long queue at the Vietnam embassy. Sometimes you have to send your passport by post to the embassy for verification. This process can now be omitted because of online system. If you are a traveler by air then only the visa on arrival can be got by the visitor.
When you go online you will be asked to fill of the form with detailed name and address. Date of birth. Nationality, passport number and then the Vietnam immigration department will email you an approval letter at a specified time. All this process takes about 3 to 5 working days. The most important thing every citizen of Uzbekistan should know is that they should possess a valid passport for at least six months, to get a visa to Vietnam.
Getting a Vietnam visa on arrival is the fastest and easiest way for an air traveler to be granted.
Secondly you can get a visa at Vietnam embassy or Vietnam consulate where you can use the Embassy Visa Service by applying online to get the approval letter. This letter should be taken to the Vietnam embassy and submit along with the documents and stamp fees and get the Vietnam visa on the spot. You should know that this type of approval letter in not allowed for people travelling by sea to Vietnam.
While taking the visa you have to pay the following fees
• Service fee – for arranging your approval letter
• Stamping fee – which has to be paid in their currency on your arrival at the airport for getting the Vietnam visa
• And valid passport for at least six months
Once you get the stamped visa on arrival then you have the legal right to move about in Vietnam.
How to get Vietnam visa in Uzbekistan?
There are 2 ways for you to get a Vietnam visa:
1. Apply for your Vietnam visa in a Vietnam Embassy / Consulate:
You can come in person to the Vietnam embassy in your country and you will be instructed step by step on how to apply for a Vietnam visa there. By this way, you have to come directly to the Vietnam embassy at least two times. The first time you come there is to submit required documents and the second one coming there is to get your Vietnam visa.
