Necessity to own a visa –
The operating government of Vietnam has made it a necessity for the nationals of Vanuatu to own distinctive Vietnam visa while entering Vietnam. The major reason behind this rightful necessity is to obtain superior level of economic stability with the help of increased tourist activities. The official authority who handles the department of issuing visa in Vietnam is the migration bureau. They are the powerful authorities who provide stamped visa to the visitors at the cost of certain fixed stamping as well as service charges.
Some exceptions –
However, this significant rule of owning a distinctive visa to enter Vietnam does not remain the same in case of all countries. Out of the numerous countries existing in the world, there are several countries whose citizens have been specifically exempted to own a Vietnam visa for some particular time duration. These exceptions have also been created by the Immigration Bureau of Vietnam keeping in mind the kind of relations existing with those countries. Some of the exceptions include:
• The nationals of Myanmar and Brunei have been exempted for 14 days free Vietnam Visa.
• The nationals of Russia, Japan, South Korea, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland have been exempted for 15 days free Vietnam Visa.
• The nationals of Philippines have been exempted for 21 days free Vietnam visa.
• The nationals of Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia have been exempted for 30 days free Vietnam visa.
In case of Vanuatuan citizens, none of the above exceptions are applicable. They have to apply for a lawful visa to visit the amazing country of Vietnam.
Distinctive methods of application –
Particularly talking about the natives of Vanuatu, they are accessible to two distinctive methods of requesting for an effective Vietnam visa. One of the most traditional methods involves personal visit to the Vietnam Embassy available in Vanuatu or some nearby country. Since there is no such embassy available in Vanuatu, their nationals are required to visit the Vietnamese embassy of New Zealand.
