• The citizens of South Korea, Japan, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark can enter Vietnam without visa and can stay there for 15days. If they plan to stay there for more than 15 days then a visa is compulsory. They can come back to Vietnam again but after 30days to enjoy the visa free policy, but coming back before 30 days needs a visa.
• Countries like Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore are visa free for 30 days.
• The citizens of Philippines are visa free for 21 days.
• The people of Myanmar and Brunei can visit Vietnam without a visa for 14 days.
How to apply for Vietnam visa
There are mainly two ways to apply for a Vietnam visa form Bosnia.
• Visa through Vietnam Embassy- At present there is no Vietnam Embassy at Bosnia. In spite of that if you want your visa in the traditional way you can get it from the Vietnam Embassy of some other nearest countries. If you stay far away from the Vietnam embassy and fail to come in person for the visa application, then you can apply the same via post. However, you need to contact the embassy in advance and check out whether visa application by post is accepted by them.
• Visa on arrival- This is an alternative way of applying for Vietnam visa form Bosnia. You need to apply online to get the visa approval letter from the Vietnam Immigration center in order to receive the Vietnam visa on your arrival to the Vietnam airport. This process is only applicable when you travel to Vietnam by air. Such visas are of two types and the validity depends upon the type of visa.
Visa fees
To get your visa on arrival you need to pay two types of fees. At the time of online application for visa approval letter you need to pay them a service fee. Once you receive the approval letter and reach Vietnam you need to pay the stamping fee at the airport to get your visa stamped. Remember that you are supposed to pay this stamping fee in cash and in US dollar.
As important documents you also need to show your passport and produce 2 passport size photos.
