What are the mandatory documents required?
(a) Two application forms which should be completed.
(b) A Passport validity of minimum six months.

How long is the visa valid for?
A Visa is valid within a 3-month period from the date of issue and allows stays for up to 30 days (expendable to 90 days at discretion of the Immigration authorities).
Two types of Visa :
Vietnam Business Visa
The business visa is issued for commercial purposes when you represent a company, office, Business partners, or when exploring market for an investment purpose. Here you get visa for doing trade.
Vietnam Tourist Visa
In addition to the commercial or business visa, you will get a visa for tourism purposes. The tourist visa includes individual tourists, in groups, and also for those persons who usually come to Vietnam to visit their family and relatives.
What is the procedure for applying Vietnam Visa
1. Applying online to obtain Vietnam visa
Get your Vietnam visa at arrival
Using visa online service from the agency website after applying with the necessary information an approval letter will be provided by the Immigration department of Vietnam to get visa within a working day in normal services or just 2 to 3 days during traffic.
To apply, for the given steps :
• Fill the necessary information of the online visa application form.
• Make your payment using Western Union, debit card, credit card, Bank transfer or PayPal.
• Receive an approval letter on the email sent by the agency within a working day of normal service or 2 to 9 hours depending on the visa traffic.
• On arrival at Vietnam Airport, present the copy of approval letter which you had, your passport, and two passport photos of size “2x2 inches” or “4x6 cm” to the authorities.
• At last pay the stamping fee and obtain your visa successfully.
2. Contact the embassy of Vietnam
In Uganda there is no Vietnam Embassy, so you have to travel the nearest country Tanzania to apply for Vietnam visa at “Vietnam Embassy” in Tanzania. Visit the Vietnam Embassy of Tanzania during the working hours with necessary documents and follow their visa procedure. It will take at least three days to obtain Vietnam visa.

• Service Charges: This is a mandatory charge which you pay to the agency for arranging the approval letter.
• Stamping Charges: This charge is to be paid through cash during the arrival at the airport to get your visa stamped.
