1. Apply online for Vietnam visa on arrival: 

If you live far from the Vietnam embassy located in Tanzania and are not wishing to send your passport, you can apply online for Vietnam visa online. As it is an ideal option, you do not have to visit Vietnam embassy in person. Instead of that, you will be granted with Vietnam visa after your arrival on Vietnam international airport by means of this method. Through this way, you will be provided with an approval letter, presenting which on Vietnam airport will provide you with visa. As always doing things online is better option to opt.

Ways to apply for Vietnam visa on arrival:

There are some simple steps that you need to follow as:

• Fill in the necessary details from in the online application form. 

• It takes 1-2 working days to provide you with confirmation letter letting you know about the status of your application. 

• In case of emergency, you will get approval letter from 30 minutes to 4 hours and you will be provided with approval letter via email before you board the flight. 

• As soon as you will land on Vietnam international airport, you will get stamped visa there.  

2. Apply for visa at Vietnam embassy or Vietnam consulate in Tanzania:

At first, search for the address of Vietnamese embassy in Tanzania. Afterwards, you will have to visit the same in person along with necessary documents as:

• Tanzanian passport with a minimum validity of 6 months, 

• 2 passport sized photographs, 

• Stamping fees that varies from embassy to embassy. 

As far as the processing duration is concerned, it requires 5 to 7 working days therefore make sure that you have completed all the documents.
