Apply for Vietnam visa at the Vietnam Embassy

It saves both money and time as the applicant does not need to visit the nearby embassy and spend his money on petrol.
Application for visa on arrival
The application for Vietnam visa is done online where you need to fill in the application form and the service taxes. After you have made the payment of the service fee you need to wait for 2 working days as this is the normal processing time taken. Once you application is sent to the Immigration Department they will send you the approval letter by mail within 2 days. If you find any wrong information in the confirmation mail then you must immediately contact with the concerned department.
Make sure that this process is only meant for those who are flying to Vietnam on air. Don’t forget to carry your valid passport and the visa approval letter with you at the airport. They will also demand 2 recent passport size photos and the stamping fee which is to be paid in cash using US dollar. If you fail to carry any of the stuffs you will be held back from stamping the Vietnam visa on your passport.
